2026 Online Casino Game Data Transparency Report

This report measures whether reviewed single-game profiles disclose RTP, maximum win, volatility and multiple RTP configurations. It reports disclosure coverage—not game quality, player outcomes or a provider ranking.

Disclosure coverage and game probability are different questions

This report asks whether reviewed sources disclose a field. The new probability study asks whether a defined event can be calculated from complete rules. A game can disclose RTP without disclosing hit or bonus frequency. The fixed Dataset v1.0 sample below is unchanged.

How to interpret and reproduce the disclosure audit

This is a methodological expansion, not a new sampling round. Dataset v1.0 retains its 2026-08-13 cut-off, inclusion decisions and original statistics. The following examples are deliberately hypothetical and are excluded from the dataset.

Six checks before interpreting a disclosure percentage
CheckRecordInterpretation boundary
Unit of analysisSource record → screened title → included title143 records, 95 screened titles and 82 included titles describe different stages, not three independent samples.
IdentityProvider, stable game ID, release and configurationA title spelling match is not enough to merge products; a configuration is not automatically a new title.
DisclosureField present, absent, ambiguous or version-mismatchedAbsence in reviewed sources is not proof that the operator lacks the data.
RTP variantsStore each quoted value with its source and configurationDo not average four RTP values into a fictitious playable setting.
Probability coverageHit event, bonus trigger, maximum-win event and denominatorAn RTP field alone identifies none of these event frequencies.
Evidence preservationCapture date, quoted field, source type and review decisionA changing web page should not silently overwrite the fixed Dataset v1.0 result.

Why game categories need different evidence

For slots, record configuration and mode before comparing RTP. For table games, record deck composition, drawing rules, payouts and strategy assumptions. For lottery models, record the draw space and exact winning event. For sports, preserve time-stamped market definitions and distinguish price-implied probability from a calibrated prediction. For fishing games, a score multiplier does not disclose capture weights. These are proposed reading criteria; the original slot-focused sample does not become a completed cross-category audit.

Game Probability Transparency Study — rules, models and worked examples (Traditional Chinese)

V65-RESEARCH-EN-01|One title, two RTPs, zero justified hit-rate estimates

Rules / assumptions:Hypothetical matched title; distinct confirmed configurations

Known facts:Configuration A states 96%; B states 94%. Neither discloses a hit definition or frequency.

  1. Store two configuration-level values under one title identity.
  2. Keep hit frequency as not disclosed in the reviewed evidence; do not fill 4%, 6% or 95%.
  3. If the user’s loaded configuration is unknown, neither value is verified for that session.

Result and reason:Disclosure of two RTP values increases documented configuration detail, not the number of measured products or known hit probabilities.

Change one condition:Change only the evidence: a matching help panel identifies configuration B. Its 94% can now be attributed to that configuration, while hit frequency remains unknown.

Original worked example under the stated assumptions; not an undisclosed product statistic or observed play record.

V65-RESEARCH-EN-02|A missing field and a failed fetch are different

Rules / assumptions:Illustrative three-source review, not Dataset v1.0 additions

Known facts:A readable page omits RTP; a second returns an access error; a third lists RTP for an unmatched release.

  1. A supports “not found on the reviewed page”.
  2. B supports “not assessed due to access failure”, not confirmed absence.
  3. C supports “version mismatch”; do not transfer its value.

Result and reason:Use distinct evidence states and a predeclared denominator; collapsing them creates a misleading coverage rate.

Change one condition:Change only B to a readable page with matching RTP. Update that evidence state, record the date and issue a new dataset version if the fixed sample is reanalysed.

Original worked example under the stated assumptions; not an undisclosed product statistic or observed play record.

This addition explains the site’s own methodology or explicitly hypothetical examples. It does not certify any commercial implementation.

2026-09-07 Change log
  • Added the probability-study cross-reference and clarified the difference between disclosure coverage and event probability.
  • Kept the original sample, cut-off date and results unchanged.
  • Expanded six-field audit interpretation, cross-category evidence boundaries and two worked examples; fixed original dataset unchanged.

This is an editorial addition, not a new audit of the original fixed dataset.

Current Database Snapshot

9,000+ game profiles now available for individual review

The live Bet888 Gaming catalog currently contains 9531 permanent game-profile URLs: 8123 electronic, 319 live, 217 sports, 71 esports, 277 card/table, 440 lottery, 83 fishing and 1 other service record. Every profile keeps provider identity, source status, checked date, field-level limitations and its own FAQ.

Version note: this current catalog expansion does not rewrite Dataset v1.0 or its fixed 13 August sample. The original report remains reproducible; the live database count is disclosed separately as a 28 August 2026 operational snapshot.
Executive Summary

What this report found

Bet888 Gaming reviewed 143 registry records. 95 were screened as single-game profiles and 82 met the verified-sample rules. Product-line and game-hall pages were kept outside the main sample because their fields are not directly comparable with a single game.

Direct answer: disclosure was uneven. Volatility was present most often in the reviewed sample, followed by maximum win and numeric RTP. A missing disclosure means the reviewed source did not establish that field; it does not prove that the value does not exist.
Key Findings

Citation-ready figures

  • 39 of 82 profiles (47.6%) disclosed a numeric RTP.
  • 53 (64.6%) disclosed a maximum-win or maximum-multiplier field.
  • 59 (72.0%) carried a meaningful volatility label.
  • 5 profiles showed more than one RTP configuration in the official material reviewed.

These figures describe the fixed 2026-08-13 snapshot and should be cited with that date and sample definition.

Research Scope & Sample Definition

What was counted—and what was not

Included

  • One identifiable game per profile.
  • An official product page, rules document or corrected source route that supported the game identity.
  • Profiles carrying a recorded verification status in the Bet888 Gaming data registry.

Excluded from the main sample

  • 48 game halls, provider landing pages or product lines.
  • Duplicate or routing-only records.
  • Profiles whose available source did not satisfy the sample threshold.

The unit of analysis is a game profile, not a provider. Provider catalog sizes differ, so this report does not publish a provider league table.

Methodology

A source-first disclosure audit

  1. Freeze the registry at 2026-08-13.
  2. Separate single-game profiles from halls and product-line pages.
  3. Confirm game identity against the recorded official source.
  4. Record a field only when the reviewed source states it or presents an unambiguous labelled value.
  5. Mark unavailable fields as not disclosed in the reviewed source; do not infer or fill values.
  6. Count each included profile once, then calculate disclosure coverage over 82 profiles.

Disclosure definitions

How each research field was classified
FieldCounted whenNot counted when
Numeric RTPA percentage was explicitly tied to the game or an identified configuration.Only generic RTP language appeared.
Maximum winA maximum multiplier or payout ceiling was explicitly stated.Marketing copy used “big win” without a number.
VolatilityA meaningful volatility, variance or risk label was stated. The source only described excitement or frequency.
Multiple RTPMore than one RTP configuration appeared in reviewed official material.Different deployment on a specific casino was merely assumed.
Overall Results

Disclosure coverage across the verified sample

Disclosure fieldProfilesCoverageInterpretation
Numeric RTP39/8247.6%Less than half of the sample displayed a numeric RTP in the reviewed source.
Maximum win53/8264.6%Maximum payout information was more common than numeric RTP.
Volatility59/8272.0%Volatility was the most frequently available of the three measured fields.
Multiple RTP candidates5/826.1%Multiple configurations were visible in official material for a small subset.

Provider-level interpretation

Disclosure completeness varied within and between providers. Because the number and type of sampled profiles differed by provider, this edition reports field coverage at profile level and does not convert uneven catalog coverage into a provider score or ranking.

Multiple RTP Configurations

Five profiles requiring configuration-level reading

The values below were present in official material reviewed for the named game. They demonstrate that one title can have more than one theoretical RTP configuration. They do not establish which configuration a particular casino currently deploys.

Source Quality

What “verified” means here

Verified means the profile identity and the recorded disclosure fields were supported by the official product or rules material stored in the registry workflow. It is not a claim that Bet888 Gaming certified the game, tested the RNG, audited a casino deployment or confirmed a player’s result.

Each game profile remains the place to inspect its available source status and field-level limitations.

Limitations

What the data cannot prove

  • The sample is a documented site registry, not the entire global casino-game market.
  • A disclosed theoretical RTP does not predict a session result.
  • Multiple RTP options do not identify the version used by any specific operator.
  • Official pages can change after the cut-off date.
  • “Not disclosed” is a source observation, not evidence that a field does not exist.
Continuously updated appendix · 31 August 2026

Current catalogue coverage is reported separately from Dataset v1.0

The live directory contains 9,531 permanent game URLs. The SPlus catalogue has 52 verified entries. The brand directory maps 934 discovered brand-name queries to 912 unique entity records after excluding 33 non-brand intents; 894 pages meet the publication threshold and 18 records remain noindex research items. The fixed Dataset v1.0 sample and cut-off date remain unchanged.

Unknown operator, licence, domain, KYC, deposit or withdrawal fields remain unverified rather than being inferred from marketing pages.
